Join our Team to Celebrate with Women and Kids the Holiday Season
Each December, CT-ALIVE brings women who have experienced abuse and their children from Hartford County and beyond together in a supportive community at a downtown hotel for a Saturday afternoon. They are treated to buffet lunch and free pampering sessions with chair massage and reiki. They participate in holiday arts and crafts, fun photo booth, face painting and laughter yoga. Santa visits with toys for the kids and door prizes for women including gift cards for them to purchase gifts for the holidays.
The Downtown Hartford Marriott Hotel donates to CT-ALIVE the ballroom and four hours of event time. Funds are needed to cover costs of lunch, toys, door prizes and parking for the women. In past years, up to 80 women and children have attended this event.
